I graduated from the University of Mining and Geology with a bachelor's degree, and received master's degrees from the D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics in Svishtov, The University of National and Global Economics, and just last semester from the New Bulgarian University in Sofia.
I started my career with one of the large non-bank lenders. Later, I joined one of the largest banks in Bulgaria, where I spent seven years in several different positions. After that, I worked as an analyst at one of the largest local mobile operators.
I joined Access Finance in 2015 as an analyst. At that time, there were only three people on the analytics team.
It wasn’t long before I got a promotion opportunity: Access Finance asked me to take over the Department of Business Analysis and Reporting. At that time the entire department consisted only of me and one analyst.
The business continued to grow rapidly, though, and my department was quickly expanded to include budgeting, sales campaigns, portfolio quality analysis, maintaining a portfolio of external P2P platforms, and evaluating new markets for expansion.
At first, our activities were limited to Bulgaria. Since then, we’ve expanded into multiple markets across Europe. As part of that process, we had to replicate our functions in several new countries. And now, we’re in the process of entering the market in the United States.
My department has had to expand along with the company. Due to the nature of the work, our team members need a firm foundation in both technology and finance.
Each round of expansion has led to new personal and professional growth opportunities for me and my team members. Access Financial has a very strong “promote-from-within” culture. That’s helped us recruit and retain outstanding individuals whom we’ve melded into an ambitious and cohesive team.

I began my career at Access Finance at the end of 2013, initially joining as the first member of the Credit Department. Soon after, the need for support in office processes emerged, leading me to become the inaugural Administrative Department member.
As the department's responsibilities and tasks grew, so did my role within the company. Today, I am Head of Administration. Alongside a team of 20 colleagues across two departments, we provide various support services to the company in multiple areas. I take immense pride in our collective achievements over the years. We have not only grown but also in our capabilities and market presence.
I am deeply thankful for the opportunities for professional development that Access Finance has provided me. I hope many others will also find their career path and grow with us, becoming part of the Access Finance family.
I started at Access Finance in 2015, focusing on online sales. Joining this company has been one of my best career decisions. The team's dynamic and the nature of our work have been incredible, contributing significantly to my personal and professional growth. The journey hasn't always been easy or fun, but our challenges have brought us closer together, making us more united and driven to achieve our goals.

My journey with Access Finance and the MFG Group has been a fulfilling path of growth and innovation. I joined the MFG Group in 2017 as a Junior Data Scientist in the Credit Risk and Revenue Optimization Directorate. This role began an exciting career trajectory in data science and credit risk management.
In the early stages of my career, I was deeply involved in the intricate aspects of data analysis and machine learning, which laid a solid foundation for my future roles. By 2020, I had progressed to Team Lead of Data Science teams, a position that challenged me and expanded my leadership skills and strategic thinking.
In 2022, I took on the role of Head of the Credit Risk and Data Science Directorate at Access Finance. Leading this directorate, I am responsible for developing and managing sophisticated Machine Learning Systems that are crucial for effective credit risk management. This role is a testament to my commitment to leveraging technology to enhance financial services.
My academic background, with a master’s degree in Big Data Modelling in Economics and Finance from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and a Professional Certificate in Data Science from HarvardX, has been instrumental in my career. Additionally, my pursuit of continuous learning, evidenced by various Machine Learning certifications from Stanford University and the Software University in Bulgaria, has kept me at the forefront of data science innovation.
My expertise in building efficient data science teams and developing Machine Learning systems and processes has been central to my role. These efforts are not just about maximizing business profits; they are about creating solutions that are robust, efficient, and capable of adapting to the ever-evolving landscape of credit risk management.

My career at Access Finance has been a journey of growth and evolution. I joined the company in March 2014 as a Call Centre Operator, one of the first ten employees in that department. Initially, my role involved handling customer calls, preparing documents, and other related tasks. I never imagined this role would be more than a temporary step, but as they say, "Nothing is more permanent than a temporary solution."
Within just four months, in July 2014, I was allowed to supervise the Sales Team when the Call Centre was divided into Sales and Customer Service teams. This role allowed me to delve into phone sales, campaigns, and initiatives, sparking my interest in process implementation.
By the end of 2016, I transitioned to the Project Management Тeam as a Project Specialist. This shift brought new challenges and learning opportunities, aligning perfectly with my growing interest in project and process management. It was a chance to start anew, proving my capabilities in a different sphere.
Over the years, I've had the privilege of learning from top professionals. In September 2019, I was promoted to Project Manager, and since April 2021, I've been leading the team, now known as "Software Business Solutions." Our focus is primarily on software projects, but we also handle various business processes. We welcome specialists from diverse backgrounds, valuing accuracy, honesty, positivity, and analytical thinking. While many skills can be learned with passion and effort, it requires time and patience.
My story at Access Finance is a testament to the possibilities open with dedication and a willingness to embrace change and growth.
My journey with Access Finance began on a rainy day in the spring of 2013, a day I vividly remember as I stepped into the company with a mindset of determination and optimism. I was there for an interview with Tsvetan Krastev, the CEO, for the position of Call Center Operator. My prior experience in a similar role made me confident and eager to see if I would be selected.
I've always believed that one can achieve great things with desire and ambition, regardless of where they start. It's about knowing where you want to go. This belief was tested when I passed the interview and officially started my career at Access Finance. I recall the day I signed my contract, joining a small team of four people.
As time passed, our workload and team grew. I was soon offered the position of an Organizer in the Call Center, and not long after, I became the manager of the Call Center. Our growth was evident and significant from the small team we were in 2013.
In 2021, I led the newly established "Operational Activity and Customer Service" Directorate, which encompasses two departments – the Call Center and Credit, with a team of over 130 people. Leading this team is both a privilege and a significant responsibility.
It's been an honor to head this directorate from its inception. I firmly believe in the principle of action over words. As the saying goes, "Deeds are needed, not words." This belief in motion continues to guide me in my role at Access Finance.
My journey with Access Finance began in January 2016 when I joined the Customer Care Team as a Call Centre Agent. The role was dynamic and engaging, and I was part of a cohesive team. By May 2017, I had progressed to become the Team Leader of the same unit.
In the latter half of 2019, my career took a significant turn as I started working with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes. Initially, this new area was challenging for me, being quite different from what I was used to. However, I gradually immersed myself in this complex field and felt a sense of belonging and purpose in this role.
I was fortunate to build a dedicated team, sharing the same commitment to our work. In early 2021, I stepped into the Manager AML & Monitoring role. Alongside overseeing the overall Anti-Money Laundering measures, I also managed Call Center Services in the International department.
Hard work, consistency, and the right team are crucial for anyone to excel in their field. My experience at Access Finance has reinforced this belief, and I take pride in saying, "I am good at what I do!" thanks to these elements.
