It’s putting financial strain on many households.
However, our latest Juzt card data shows that at least some subprime consumers are quietly finding respite in an underappreciated corner of fintech: small-limit, digital credit cards. Access Finance has released its Q4 2025 report
Access Finance has released its Q4 2025 report on U.S. subprime consumer credit behavior, offering new insights into how these consumers spend and manage credit. Based on anonymized data from Juzt card users, the findings challenge common misconceptions and show that subprime borrowers are largely employed, middle-income Americans who use credit primarily for everyday essentials such as groceries, gas, and dining.
The report also shows how consistent these spending patterns are, with small, frequent transactions and stable balances over time. Overall, the data points to a financially disciplined group of consumers and highlights the need for more modern, inclusive approaches to credit access that better reflect how people actually live and spend.
